Littel Concepts and V-103 Remixes Summer
Romance with Passion & Poetry
Atlanta, GA – July 16, 2008:
Love, Romance, Sensuality and the Spoken Word… Each describes the
experience of desire… each describes the experience of Passion &
Poetry. Littel Concepts, in conjunction with The People’s Station,
V-103, will host the highly anticipated Passion & Poetry: Summer Heat –
THE REMIX at Center Stage Atlanta (1374 Peachtree St., Atlanta, 30309),
on Friday, August 8th and Saturday, August 9th. With
three HOT shows on two HOT nights, Passion & Poetry guarantees
to set Atlanta on FIRE!
Over the years,
the Passion & Poetry series has received national acclaim as a
branded love affair. The experience is unmatched when it comes to
re-igniting the passion of love relationships for men and women. Using the
muse of sensual music and “grown-folks” poetry, the event has become a “must
see” for the grown and sexy! “I’ve been in the love business for years,”
states Joyce Littel, CEO of Littel Concepts and host of V-103’s Quiet
Storm and Love & Relationships, “In those years, I’ve seen and
heard the best and worst of love experiences. Passion & Poetry was birthed
in romance and simply seeks to re-ignite the spark in adult relationships.”
Only the hottest
entertainment is showcased at a Passion & Poetry event. “We’ve
personally hand-picked the sexiest, steamiest performers and poets from
around the nation and our great city of Atlanta,” states Janet Jack,
business manager of Littel Concepts. The line up for … Summer Heat – THE
REMIX will include local and national favorites – poets Spinxx and Haya
Reality; HBO’s Def Poet, Abyss; Denver’s Ruckus; Chicago’s
MReld; and Los Angeles’ Sun Dress poet C.O.C.O. Brown.
Musical guests include the soulful, Gritz and Jelly Butter; musical
legacy, Keisha Jackson; the incomparable, Phillippia; and
musical sensation, Dirty Rose! Just added: actor Laman Rucker from
Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married and recent nominee of
Essence Magazine’s Do Right Man line up; and famed R&B legend,
Tony Terry!
Tickets are $30.00 and are on sale now for both nights: one
show at 8PM on Friday, August 8th and two shows at 8PM and 12MID

40 minutes, including a 30-minute intermission. KOOZA tells the story of
The Innocent, a melancholy loner in search of his place in the world. KOOZA
is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil: It combines two circus
traditions – acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show
highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and
fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick
humor.
The Innocent's journey brings
him into contact with a panoply of comic characters such as the King, the
Trickster, the Pickpocket, and the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog.
Between strength and fragility, laughter and smiles,
turmoil and harmony, KOOZA explores themes of fear, identity, recognition
and power. The show is set in an electrifying and exotic visual world full
of surprises, thrills, chills, audacity and total involvement

I had the privilege of viewing the treasures of King Tut exhibit, @ the
Field Museum of Chicago or was it the Chicago Museum of Natural History,
over 25 years ago(yes, I’ve been living on Planet Earth for some time now
and lovin’ it, now you know I can’t remember that far back, just believe me,
I saw it!) The exhibit I saw of the boy king(familiarly known as King Tut)
was definitely smaller, it toured only 7 cities, attracted the world, I’m
sure there were over 8 million visitors. So don’t hesitate…what are you

outrageously prodigious comic and musical soul of 1930’s Harlem is showcased
in this rollicking, swinging, finger-snapping revue that is still considered
one of Broadway’s most well-crafted shows of all time – sometimes sassy,
sometimes sultry, with moments of heartwarming beauty. Ain’t Misbehavin’ is
